Hello everyone. We read up to pg 84 Exercise: My Spiritual History so we'll resume there next week. Tonight we discussed the idea of letting go of trying to control everything and trusting in the process. We talked about faith in recovery and being open-minded to new possibilities in recovery.


This week I challenge you to do the exercise in the book and then come back and tell us about it : "Choose one issue that troubles you about yourself, and today do one thing differently from your habitual way of behaving, either internally or externally. Stick with this for a week and see what happens." p 84


I don't like that I'm often too loud. I get excited and raise the volume of my voice. I'm not yelling, but people sometimes hear it that way, although it's usually in an excited manner, not an angry one. For this week, I'm going to be mindful of modulating the volume of my voice. I'll let you know how it goes.
