This module is perfect for anyone who wants to dig deeper into the Twelve Steps of recovery and the chakra system for their own personal development or Advanced Yoga4Sobriety teacher training.

The self-study of the Twelve Steps of recovery and the connection to the chakra system includes readings and questions that have been laid out to help you find your personal experience, strength, and hope. 

This study includes:

  • Weekly reading assignments from Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions and Eastern Body Western Mind

  • Weekly downloads that include questions to be answered for the following week

  • Weekly 2-hour lessons with the discussions of answered questions. Personal experiences can be shared in a general way or kept to yourself.                                                

  • Access to a weekly Yoga4Sobriety class with Gwen R.

Gwen has been actively in Twelve Step recovery since 1991 and brings an understanding of the program, who her students are, and what they need to her classes.  Gwen founded Yoga4Sobriety in 2013 after her yoga and recovery journey brought the two worlds together.  A simple repetitive approach to give regular reinforcement of recovery principles and yoga practices to build on already existing treatment programs and Twelve Step living is her goal.
