Mindfulness Practice 2 - Body Scan


Find a place where you can sit or lie down quietly and undisturbed for a few moments. You can play soothing music in the background if you choose.


Begin by paying attention to the sensations in your feet. This can be warmth, coolness, pressure, pain, or air movement - there is no right or wrong here, just noticing. Then bring your attention to other parts of the body, pausing at each one to notice the sensations. Slowly, travel up the body and back down until you reach your feet again.


It might be frustrating at times or boring but keep practicing. As with anything, it gets easier over time.
