Rooted in Recovery
Reclaim Manageability, Trust, and Let Go
A Yoga4Sobriety™ Chakra Retreat Open to All
April 15–18, 2027

Find Your Ground
The first three Steps invite us into a powerful beginning: recognizing what is unmanageable, becoming willing to trust something greater, and releasing the need to control every outcome.
Rooted in Recovery brings these foundational Steps together with the wisdom of the First Chakra through yoga, breathwork, meditation, reflection, and meaningful connection.
Over four days, you’ll explore what it means to feel grounded, supported, and at home within yourself while strengthening the foundation that carries your recovery forward.
All recovery pathways and levels of yoga experience are welcome.
Gwen Rebbeck (E-RYT 500, YACEP) is the founder of Yoga4Sobriety™ and a yoga instructor and teacher trainer who has spent years creating recovery-centered practices that are practical, accessible, and deeply respectful of the Twelve Step path.
Gwen is also a woman of long-term recovery and remains active in the program. She leads with steadiness, warmth, and humility—offering a supportive container for reflection, embodied practice, and meaningful insight as you explore feminine archetypes as companions on the recovery path.

Three Steps. One Strong Foundation.
Step One: Reclaim Manageability
Explore the places where life has become unmanageable and reconnect with the steadiness of your body, the earth, and the present moment.
Step Two: Build Trust
Become open to support beyond yourself while strengthening your connection to hope, possibility, and a power greater than your individual will.
Step Three: Let Go
With trust as our foundation, we practice letting go of control and releasing our attachment to outcomes. Through aligning our will with a Higher Power, we become open to guidance, support, and the path unfolding before us.

More Than Understanding the Steps
This retreat invites you to experience Steps One, Two, and Three through the body, breath, and First Chakra.
Through movement, meditation, personal inquiry, group connection, and time in nature, these foundational principles move beyond ideas and become practices you can carry into daily life.
You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of manageability, trust, and aligned action, along with practical ways to return to your foundation whenever life feels unsteady.
