How to integrate Yoga4Sobriety into your life.

Make a three month commitment. We do it in recovery all the time. 90 meetings in 90 days and we will gladly refund your misery. Y4S commitment is cake compared the that! So one class a week for three months. Make 12 classes in 12 weeks and if you're not feeling good after those 12 weeks you can have your hour a week back.

Bring a buddy. Having someone to hold you accountable for your commitment will help.

Create a ritual around the class. If you choose the early class have coffee at your favorite morning spot and do your readings or hit a early meeting. Maybe you want to follow class with a bike ride or run in the park.

Isolate your weakness. Figure out what is holding you back and take steps to change it.

Start at your pace. Yes commit to showing up but remember yoga is very individual. Go at your pace and do what you can. Leave the rest until to naturally move into it.

Stress Relief. Let's face it we all need it. Once you learn how to physically work through stress you would not go without this tool.

The only scoffers at yoga are those who haven't given it a consistent effort. Give it a shot. What have you got to lose?
