4 ONE-HOUR SESSIONS Overview: In this part of the Yoga4Sobriety™ Coaching Program, you’ll embark on a self-regulation journey to understand and manage the energy (prana) that flows through your body. This phase is dedicated to helping you find balance, not just by calming your nervous system, but also by lifting your energy when it feels low. Through breathwork, movement, and body awareness, you’ll gain practical tools to soothe overstimulation and spark vitality when feeling depleted. These foundational practices will support you in reducing stress, managing emotional fluctuations, and cultivating a steady, empowered presence in your daily life and recovery journey. What You'll Learn: Understanding Charge (Prana): Explore how energy moves through your body and how it impacts your emotional state, mental clarity, and physical well-being. Session Breakdown: Session 1: Understanding and Managing Charge (Prana) Objective: Identify and manage your energy (prana) by focusing on the psoas, vagus nerve, and diaphragmatic breathing. This session will introduce foundational breath and movement practices that promote calmness and regulation. Session 2: Understanding Anxiety and Releasing High Charge Objective: Understand anxiety as a high charge and learn tools like nasal breathing and dance movement to release excess energy. This session will give you the skills to reduce overwhelming emotions and return to a more balanced state. Session 3: Understanding Depression and Lifting Low Charge Objective: Learn how to lift low energy and combat feelings of depression through laughter therapy and breathwork, focusing on inhalation to increase energy and elevate your mood. Session 4: Integrating Self-Regulation Into Daily Life Objective: Discover how to integrate the practices learned into your daily routine. By the end of this session, you’ll have a toolkit of techniques to self-regulate in everyday situations.
