Learning What We Value

Something important for me is being mindful of making sure I stay in alignment with my values. It feels yucky to be out of alignment with a value or let someone else impose their value on me.


For example, I value honesty. I would rather you be truthful to the point of being almost mean to me than lie to me. I was lied to for so long that I just don't have time for it anymore. Plus, it's exhausting to remember all the stories I've told everyone - it's so much easier to just remember the truth.


How are you mindful of your values? I would love to hear!
